In this paper, the theoretical basis and the selection of techniques forinversion the parameters of formation with the data obtained from EPT were introduced in detail. For the case of existing the thin mudcake, the software for direct inversion was given. It has many merits such as the high exactitude and is easy to operate. The software above mentioned and that published in REFERENCE [9],e. g. , the mudcake correction template software, jointly composed of a complete one for insersion the parameters of formation with the data obtained from the electro-magnetic propagation logging.
