压缩地震数据的新方法

本文提出了关于压缩地震数据的一种新方法。其基本思路是受分形几何理论的启发, 用一个固定长度的“尺码”走过所有的数据串。根据这个“尺码”恢复估计所有的数据值。我们已将此方法应用于地震数据的压缩, 结果证明是有效的。本文所提出的压缩方法不论从概念上, 还是从计算复杂性方面看都是非常直观、简单且易于实现的。

The fundamental operation of the new approach presentcd here for seismic data comprcssion,which is bascd on the fractal gco1netry, is to move a "yardstick" with a fixed length across an entire data string, All the data are estimated in line with the "yardstick". We have appied it to scismic data compression. The rcsult shows that the approach is of good practice in all respects.
