Application of fractal theory to hydrocarbon detection

分形理论是描述和研究自然界中不规则形体的重要手段。本文探讨了应用这种理论进行油气检测的方法和步骤。经过对计算求得的分维数的修饰性处理, 分维数曲线的形态变化与油气藏的分布更为吻合。最后给出了在陕甘宁盆地黄土源区和沙漠区的油气检测结果, 表明这种方法在复杂地表条件下也是十分有效的, 开发的相应软件可在微机和工作站上运行。
Fractal theory is an important approach to the discription and study of irrcgular bodies in nature. The paper presents the method and step of using the theory for hydrocarbon detection.Through trimming processing of the fractal dimension obtained by computation, thc shape of the fractal cutves becomes more coincident with the distribution of hydrocarbon reservoir. Results from the hydrocarbon detection in the loess and desert areas of Shanganling Basin domonstratc that the technique is also effective upon complex surface conditions. The softwarc developed can be operated on microcomputers and workstations.
