本文提出一种用于合成声测井解释的新方法——特征点法,它不仅利用了合成声测井速度曲线的速度值,而且还利用合成声测井速度曲线的波形特征,即速度曲线的极值点、拐点、半幅点、速度梯度值等,这样就能更准确地确定地层层位界面。本文详细论述了方法的建立,并处理了二个实例。用特征点法对合成声测井速度曲线进行解释,比通常彩色显示解释更具有可靠性。

A new method for the synthetic acoustic log interpretation -characteristic point mithod isproposed in the paper. It utihzes not only the velocity value for the velocity curves of the syntheticacoustic log,but also the waveform character of the velocity curves,the extreme value point,inflec-tion point, half-amplitude point,velocity gradient value and so on.So it can determine the stratahorizon interface more accurately. The paper expounds the establishment of the method. Two dataprocessing examples using the method are present. The interpretation for the velocity curves of thesynthetic acoustic log using the characteristic point method is more reliable than the usual interpre-tation for color display.
