通过对辽河油田 3口油井的岩屑磁性进行研究,发现碳酸盐岩储层中含油层位具有较低的磁化率特征。通过对井间、层位间磁化率的比较分析,可以推断整井的含油性和含油层位。

WT5”BZ] A study of magnetism of rock cuttings from 3 oil wells in Liaohe Oilfield reveals that oil bearing formations in carbonate rock reservoirs are apt to be of lower magnetic susceptibility. The oil possibilities for a whole well and its oil bearing formations can be inferred from comparing magneticsusceptibility between different wells and layers. Comparison between borehole susceptibility and resistivity suggests that it will help reservoir characterization by combining the above two parameters.
