Effects of casing on crosswell electromagnetic logging

以电磁场理论为基础, 导出了过套管进行井间电磁测井问题的理论公式, 并用低频电磁波进行了数值模拟, 分析了套管对井间电磁测井的影响。结果表明, 用低频电磁波过套管测量地层电阻率的井间测井方法是可行的。
Based on electromagnetic field theory, this paper derived the theoretical formulae used for crosswell formation resistivity logging in cased hole, conducted numerical simulation with low frequency electromagnetic wave, and analyzed the effects of casing on crosswell resistivity logging. It showed that it is feasible to measure the formation resistivity using low frequency electromagnetic wave between wells. The results provide a theoretical foundation for the interpretation of cased well logging data, the study of crosswell electromagnetic tomography, and the development of logging tools.
