Phase-ray Maslov summation: a complete finite-frequency ray method

现有的有限频率射线方法,包括Maslov射线求和法和相射线法,只能部分地模拟菲涅耳干涉和介质非均匀性散射这两个影响有限频率波在非均匀介质传播的基本物理过程。为克服这些局限性,提出了一种新的有限频率射线方法。该方法融合了Maslov射线求和法和相射线法两者的长处,可以同时精确地模拟由菲涅耳干涉及介质非均匀性散射产生的有限频率波动现象,因此是一个完全的有限频率方法。此外,由于精确地描述了波场在焦散区附近由散射引起的波场平滑过程,也从根本上解决了渐近射线理论的奇异性问题。
The existing finite-frequency ray methods, including the Maslov ray summation and phase-ray method, can only partially simulate the basic physical process during which the finite-frequency wave affected by Fresnel interference and medium heterogeneity scattering propagates. Aiming at such limitations of these finite-frequency ray methods, we have proposed a new finite-frequency ray method which combines the advantages of both Maslov ray summation and phase-ray methods. The new method can simulate the finite-frequency wave phenomena arising from both Fresnel interference and medium heterogeneity scattering. Hence, it is a complete finite-frequency ray method. Moreover, being able to describe accurately the wave field smoothing process at a caustic due to the scattering, the method satisfactorily eliminates the singularity problem of asymptotic ray theory.
