Application of spectral imaging technology in predicting reservoir thickness

基于薄层反射调谐原理的频谱成像技术,通过生成调谐能量体和一系列单频率的能量体,对储层厚度和储层横向变化进行有效描述。利用该技术对位于中国渤海辽东湾探区X构造东营组二段下段的一个典型岩性圈闭提取了振幅、频率等地震属性,目的层表现出强振幅、强调谐能量、低相对波阻抗、强高频吸收和衰减等含油气地球物理特征。利用频谱成像技术对X构造目标区油气层的空间展布进行了分析,定量预测了气层的厚度。后经钻井证实预测结果比较准确。
Spectral imaging technology based on thin bed reflecting tuning theory can effectively describe the lateral changes of sandstone and the thickness of reservoir by generating tuning energy volume and a series of single frequency energy volume. The technology was used to extract amplitude and frequency of a typical lithologic trap located in the lower second member of Dongying formation of X structure in Liaodong bay exploration area. The target layer displays an obvious hydrocarbon bearing characteristics, such as strong amplitude, strong tuning energy, low relative wave impedance, strong attenuation and absorption of high frequency, etc. The technology was used to analyze the spatial attribution of target hydrocarbon zones of X structure and quantitatively predict the thickness of gas layer. The prediction results were proved accurate by the followed drilling information.
