For complex stratum structure such as delta and sand-gravel bodies,conventional sedimentary sequences
classification method using logging data often leads to difficulty in lateral contrast between wells and strong
uncertainty extrapolation from point to plane,therefore the recognition of sedimentary characteristics in space
cannot be directly obtained.In order to solve the problem,especially for the new exploration area with few drilling
wells,we carry out sedimentary sequences classification in double-domain based on seismic data that is to carry out
synchronous analysis in time-depth domain and Wheeler-domain.The detail realization steps and analysis procedure
are displayed.By using this method,we divide the middle Es3 strata into nine sedimentary cycles and stages in
Dongying Delta system and establish fine isochronal stratigraphic framework.Field production practice proves that
the classification result is coinciding with the delta sedimentary rules and the actual lithology distribution revealed
by drilling.
