中国煤层气资源潜力巨大,是我国天然气增储上产的重要领域之一,煤层气的勘探开发是中国化石能源资源禀赋的选择和国家需要,对保障我国能源安全和经济社会发展意义重大。系统概述了煤层气勘探与开发技术体系内涵,评述了现有关键煤层气地质评价技术进展,前瞻了不同地质情景下煤层气开发利用的重要方向与发展前景。取得以下认识:煤储层关键地质要素对煤层气富集具有重要影响作用;煤层气开发工程与煤储层特征存在适配性关系,多种常规与非常规表征技术的结合对煤储层进行系统化、精细化、超微观化的定量表征,将是今后煤储层表征的发展趋势;分析探讨了高煤阶煤层气和中低煤阶煤层气现有勘探开发中存在的问题,指出建立与煤层气地质条件相适应的适配性技术是煤层气增产的关键;论述了构造煤煤层气与深部煤煤层气特殊地质储层特征及成藏模式,强调复杂地质条件下的煤层气开发应是资源地质条件和开采技术条件两大类的系统工程;煤系气与卸压煤层气新领域的高效勘探开发、煤层CO2地质封存与煤层气强化开发(CO2-ECBM)技术是当前碳中和背景下煤层气优先发展的重要领域。
Coalbed methane (CBM) plays an important role in terms of natural gas storage and production in China because of its great potential.The exploration and development of CBM is the choice of fossil energy resource endowment and is of great significance to Chinas energy security and social development.In this study,the connotations of CBM exploration and development are systematically summarized,and the current state of CBM reservoir evaluation techniques are reviewed.Additionally,the future research directions of CBM exploitation and utilization under different geological scenarios are examined.The following conclusions were obtained.Geological factors have a significant effect on CBM enrichment.CBM development engineering activities and coal reservoir characteristics are mutually restricted.Systematic,fine,and quantitative characterization of coal reservoirs by combining various conventional and unconventional characterization technologies will become a developing trend in the future.Additionally,the existing problems in the exploration and development of high rank and middle-low rank CBM are analyzed.A key technical issue in increasing CBM production is to establish an adaptive technology suitable for the geological conditions of CBM.The characteristics and accumulation models of the special geological reservoirs,such as tectonically deformed CBM and deep CBM,are systematically discussed.It can be emphasized that the development of CBM under complex geological conditions is a systematic project following resource geological conditions and exploitation technical conditions.High-efficiency exploration and development of coal-series gas and decompressed CBM,coal-bed CO2 geological storage and CO2 enhanced coalbed methane are the key development areas of CBM,which should be given priority in coal geology research under the background of carbon neutrality.
